HFA is a fellowship with MedStar Health in Maryland and Washington, DC. The curriculum is designed around four pillars: health, design, entrepreneurship, and leadership. I am currently working in an "internal startup" – Integrative Medicine – at the MedStar Institute for Innovation (MI2).

In January, I reflected on my growth in one of the four pillars of Health for America at MedStar Health (HFA) – Leadership. Since then, Sharon and I have continued to learn from leaders in health care, policy and more. We’ve also had the opportunity to learn from leaders on our respective internal startup teams and, in doing so, make our mark on initiatives within MedStar Health.

I have always enjoyed being around a diverse group of people, learning about different subjects, and working to connect the dots.
