Comm& was developed for a deaf client in partnership with an occupational therapist. We worked with the client to identify difficult areas of daily living and develop a solution. I worked with her to observe and learn about her home, her habits and tried to put myself in her shoes.
I developed smart glasses that adapted to help with her insomnia as well as provided captioning communication so she could speak with friends and family members over the phone and face to face.
This project was then moved forward as my senior thesis, and then as Olive Devices.
